Emerging Cricket is an independent collective of individuals brought together in their passion for the growth of the game outside its traditional centres.
By providing meaningful content from those at the coalface; players, coaches, administrators and fans – where every corner of cricket’s new world is represented and celebrated – our mission is to be the trusted voice of the emerging cricket world, the go-to place for fans to be informed and inspired by stories from Associate cricket and beyond.
This will not be possible without harnessing the collective passion of people around the globe to contribute to the cause. Revenue generated from our Patreon creator page will allow us to continue to broaden the scope of our coverage across our website, podcast and more – while also providing exclusive content and experiences those who support us financially.
If, in addition to – or in lieu of – your financial contribution, you would like to be part of EC please drop us an email.
We can use a whole range of skills so please don’t be bashful in getting in touch – writers, developers, lawyers, statisticians, graphic designers, etc!
WCL2 in Namibia was the first tournament we officially covered. As the only agency covering the event from each of the three venues in action concurrently, we provided live blogs, interviews, reports and commentary for live streams.
We have big dreams for emergingcricket.com. We will keep everyone informed as we release more sections and features including detailed team/player profiles, opinion pieces, regular columns and interviews. There are wishlist items aplenty including detailed stats, streaming partnerships and alternative commentary, to name a few.
Our launched in late 2018 with a series of interviews from the T20 World Cup Qualifier in the Philippines. Indicative of our commitment, we were the only overseas media at the event. We have since begun releasing regular content. Our weekly pod covers the news, scores, discussions and interviews from the emerging cricket world. You can listen wherever you get your podcasts from; Apple, Spotify, PlayerFM and also on 91.3 SportFM who carry the podcast on their regular schedule – you can listen online and via the myTuner Radio app.
You will see more detail emerging as we grow our website to become the hub for fans of the emerging game.
