Emerging Cricket is a not-for-profit collective of individuals brought together in their passion for the growth of the game outside its traditional centres – to provide news, insight and opinion on the sport beyond the mainstream, at the game’s frontiers; cricket’s new world.
By providing meaningful content from those at the coalface; players, coaches, administrators and fans – where every corner of cricket’s new world is represented and celebrated – our mission is to be the trusted voice of the emerging cricket world, the go-to place for cricket fans to be engaged and inspired by stories from the Associates and beyond.
This will not be possible without harnessing the collective power of passionate people around the globe to contribute to the cause. We are powered by those who volunteer their time and expertise in a joint effort. If you would like to be part of EC drop us a note at email@example.com.
We can use a whole range of skills so please don’t be bashful in getting in touch – writers, developers, lawyers, statisticians, graphic designers, etc!
This (basic) site represents an expedited release to provide a platform for our various previews and features leading up to some important events. We will keep everyone informed as we release more sections and features including detailed team/player profiles, opinion pieces, regular columns and interviews. There are wishlist items aplenty including detailed stats, streaming partnerships and alternative commentary, to name a few.
Our launched late last year with interviews from the T20 World Cup Qualifier in the Philippines. Indicative of our commitment, we were the only overseas media at the event. We have since begun releasing regular content covering the news, scores, discussions and interviews from the emerging cricket world. You can listen wherever you get your podcasts from; Apple, Spotify, PlayerFM etc.
WCL2 in Namibia was the first tournament we officially covered. As the only agency covering the event from each of the three venues in action concurrently, we provided live blogs, interviews and commentary for various streams across the 20-27 April event.
You will see more detail emerging as we grow our website to become the hub for fans of the emerging game.
